% Onsite Assignments | Independent Contractor (1099) | $18-$30/Hour | Two-Hour Minimum Nile Language Services is currently contracting with qualified Spanish-English interpreters in Union, Kentucky, and surrounding areas for onsite, in-person interpreting assignments. This is a freelance Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity , not an employee position. Interpreters may accept or decline assignments based on their availability.

This opportunity is 100% onsite/in person. There are currently no virtual or remote assignments available for this position.

PM Settings:

Medical, Workers' Compensation, Rehabilitation & Professional Appointments Assignment schedules and volume vary depending on client needs. As an independent contractor, you may accept or decline individual assignments based on your availability. Weekday daytime availability is strongly preferred , particularly between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , when most onsite assignments take place.

LOCATION REQUIREMENT

Applicants must live in or within reasonable driving distance of Union, Kentucky and have reliable transportation to travel to onsite appointments throughout Union and surrounding communities. Applicants who cannot reliably travel to the Union area will not be considered for this opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking Spanish-English interpreters who: Have professional Spanish-English interpreting experience Are qualified or certified interpreters, preferred Have medical interpreting experience, strongly preferred Demonstrate strong proficiency in both Spanish and English Understand professional interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and professional boundaries Are dependable, punctual, and professional Have reliable transportation Can reliably travel throughout Union and surrounding areas Have weekday daytime availability, particularly Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Understand that assignments for this opportunity are onsite/in person
