Qualifications & Experience:

Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience as a school-based interpreter or teaching ASL is beneficial Ability to accurately interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and sensitivity to confidentiality in educational settings No certification required for this opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated one-to-one interpreting services for a high school student throughout the school day Accurately facilitate communication between the student and staff, classmates, and others as needed Support the students participation in classroom activities and campus life by ensuring seamless interpretation Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and professionals to help optimize the students learning experience Imagine each day creating new opportunities for your studenthelping them access curriculum, interact confidently, and build connections in school life.
