November 16, 2026Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, serving patients across all age ranges from infant to geriatricManage a diverse patient caseload including complex, multi-system diagnoses with a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower acuity patientsWork rotating night and evening shifts (19:00-07:30 / 15:00-03:30), with primary need currently on night shift; rotation is based on departmental scheduling needsFulfill required weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, as well as holidays as scheduledFloat within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed; travelers are first to floatMaintain active certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale; CPI certification to be completed during onboardingRequired QualificationsActive Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submissionBLS and ACLS certifications
