Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings Valid EIPA score of 3.0 or higher (required) Familiarity with supporting a diverse K-12 student caseload Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication styles Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, 1:1 sign language interpreting services for a student, ensuring access to all aspects of classroom instruction and activities Accurately facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other necessary modes Support classroom participation, engagement, and inclusion Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information and communication Attend meetings, trainings, and participate in relevant school activities as necessary This full-time role offers a consistent weekday schedule so you can plan your time while making a real difference each day.
