Key Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with demonstrated interpreting skills Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly at the middle school level Understanding of Deaf culture and knowledge of IEP/504 accommodations Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and other interpreters Professional certification or licensure as required by state guidelines Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment
