Preferred Qualifications:

National Interpreter Certification (NIC) or EIPA credential preferred Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience as a sign language interpreter, ideally in educational settings Comfortable interpreting for high school age students Responsiveness, reliability, and strong communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide sign language interpretation for a high school student throughout the school day Facilitate clear and accurate communication between the student, teachers, and peers Support inclusion by enabling participation in classroom activities and extracurriculars Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure the students needs are met
