Key Qualifications:

Current RN license in good standing Previous experience as a school nurse or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations and administer first aid as needed Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with children, staff, and families Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a school-year contract

Core Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 nursing care and supervision for a designated student, meeting all healthcare needs during the afternoon program Administer prescribed medications, manage allergies, and respond to any medical emergencies Support daily health routines, including feeding, mobility assistance, or other individualized interventions Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school protocols and healthcare regulations Communicate promptly and professionally with the education team and family regarding student health updates Uphold confidentiality and promote a welcoming, supportive environment for all students This contract is scheduled to begin August 24, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, with a consistent five-day per week commitment during the afternoon period, helping ensure stability for the student and school community.
