Key Responsibilities:

Deliver clear, accurate American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting for a middle school student during daily classroom instruction and school activities. Serve as a language and cultural bridge, ensuring equitable communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers. Collaborate with the broader educational team to foster inclusivity and access. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in educational interpreting.

Qualifications:

EIPA Score of 4.0 or higher (or equivalent state-level certification). Experience interpreting in middle or secondary school environments is a plus. Must be able to complete required district onboarding and background checks prior to assignment start.
