This full-time contract opportunity is designed for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter ready to work onsite, supporting an elementary student in a school setting. The assignment spans the academic year, from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, covering 35 hours each week, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 2:30pm. You'll play a vital role each morning, arriving before students to ensure a seamless start for those who rely on your expertise.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter, meeting state requirements EIPA score of 3.5 or above, or a current RID certification (either credential accepted) Prior experience interpreting in a K-12 school environment Strong knowledge of American Sign Language and educational interpreting practices Ability to remain attentive, flexible, and professional throughout the school day Demonstrated capacity to build rapport and adapt communication styles for young learners Commitment to punctuality and preparation before student arrival each day

What You'll Do:
