Job Description
Our client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Bilingual Translator for their Fletcher, NC location.
Responsibilities:
The Bilingual Production Translator supports communication between English-speaking and Spanish-speaking employees in a manufacturing environment.
This position works primarily on the production floor and serves as a key communication resource between production employees, supervisors, and leadership.
The role is hands-on in nature and focused on supporting daily manufacturing operations, safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Provide real-time English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation during daily manufacturing operations.
Support communication between production employees, supervisors, team leads, and management.
Assist employees in understanding work instructions, safety requirements, quality expectations, and operational procedures.
Support onboarding and training activities to ensure clear understanding of job duties and workplace expectations.
Translate work-related documents, safety communications, and operational information as needed.
Maintain a regular presence on the shop floor throughout the shift.
Develop an understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment to better support production teams.
Requirements:
Must be fluent in both English and Spanish with strong verbal communication skills.
Manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
Ability and willingness to learn production processes and machine operation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
