What Were Seeking:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school setting. Valid and current national certification, such as RID, or state-level interpreter license (as applicable). Flexibility, adaptability, and professional demeanor working with students and multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct sign language interpretation for students, staff, and families in classroom and school environments. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of interpretation.
