Role Highlights:

Deliver clear, accurate interpreting between spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL), working closely with students 1:1 Foster active engagement during classroom instruction, school activities, and individual sessions Collaborate with teachers, staff, and support personnel to ensure the students full access to educational content Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards inherent to educational interpreting Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports communication for all students

Required Qualifications:

ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or above Demonstrated experience as a school-based or educational interpreter (preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Open to travel and willing to be onsite full-time Ability to be flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of students and staff
