Iflingo Interpretation Services LLC is seeking experienced Spanish-English Simultaneous Interpreters for an upcoming in-person conference assignment in Oriskany, Upstate New York. This assignment requires professional simultaneous interpretation of live presentations in a conference setting. We are specifically seeking interpreters with prior simultaneous and conference interpreting experience who are comfortable interpreting presentations in real time for an extended program.

Pay:

$30-$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Candidates who are available for all or some of the assignment dates are encouraged to apply. Duties Provide professional Spanish-English simultaneous interpretation during live conference presentations Interpret speakers accurately and clearly in real time while maintaining the meaning, tone, and intent of the original message Work collaboratively with other interpreters as part of an interpreting team when required Review available terminology, agendas, and presentation materials in preparation for the assignment Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout conference sessions Follow professional standards regarding confidentiality, impartiality, and interpreter ethics Arrive on time and maintain professional conduct throughout the assignment Qualifications Fluency in both Spanish and English Professional simultaneous interpreting experience required Previous conference interpreting experience required Demonstrated ability to interpret live presentations accurately and efficiently Ability to maintain concentration and interpretation quality during extended conference sessions Strong command of professional terminology in both Spanish and English Excellent listening, comprehension, and verbal communication skills Professional, punctual, and dependable Comfortable working collaboratively with another simultaneous interpreter Ability to travel to Oriskany, NY 13424 Professional interpreter training and certifications are preferred.
