Qualifications and Skills:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings is highly valued Ability to interpret classroom lessons, discussions, and school activities with accuracy and professionalism Strong understanding of deaf culture and sensitivity to the needs of deaf and hard-of-hearing students Current certification as a Sign Language Interpreter or Educational Interpreter preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational abilities and adaptability within diverse educational environments
