What You'll Do:
Deliver clear, accurate interpreting for one high school student daily in classroom and school-related settings Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and peers Support the students participation in academic, extracurricular, and school events Maintain professional standards and confidentiality at all times Work 33.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday, adhering to the school calendar
What We're Looking For:
Oklahoma Quality Assurance Screening Test (QAST) certification Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) credential Experience with or certification through Training and Assessment Systems for K-12 Educational Interpreters (TASK 12) High proficiency in American Sign Language and educational interpreting, preferably within a school environment Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive, and accessible learning environment
