This contract position offers the opportunity to work 1:1 with a 5th-grade student in a Life Skills classroom, providing crucial interpretive services within an engaging academic environment. This assignment is full-time (35 hours per week), running from August 19, 2026, to June 2, 2027, with a set schedule of 7:20 am to 2:10 pm. Youll play an essential role in fostering communication and supporting student growth throughout the school year.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Valid and current credential as a Sign Language Interpreter Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) A minimum EIPA score of 3.5 or higher is required Previous experience working in educational settings, particularly with elementary-aged students, is preferred Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and students Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a supportive presence in the classroom

Key Responsibilities:
