Freelancers will listen to recorded conversations between humans and AI-generated voices and assess the quality, naturalness, fluency, and conversational behaviour of the AI audio. Ratings and written feedback will be completed according to detailed project guidelines. Project work is released in batches. Available workload may therefore vary based on project requirements, and no minimum or maximum weekly workload is guaranteed. What You'll Do Listen and evaluate: Review short audio recordings of conversations between a human speaker and an AI-generated voice.
Rate audio quality:
Assess how natural the AI speech sounds, including characteristics such as prosody , intonation , and fluency .
Assess conversational behaviour:
Evaluate how effectively the AI handles situations such as barge-ins , backchanneling , yielding , and turn-taking .
Compare audio samples:
Review different versions of the same or similar conversation and determine which demonstrates more natural and appropriate conversational speech.
Provide written justifications:
Write concise, clear explanations in English supporting your ratings and preferences.
Follow project guidelines:
Apply detailed evaluation criteria consistently and complete assigned audio reviews to the required quality standard. Required Qualifications C2/fully proficient English or equivalent , with excellent listening comprehension and a strong understanding of natural spoken English, including conversational rhythm, idiomatic language, informal speech patterns, and common expressions. Ability to assess AI-generated speech for naturalness, fluency, conversational appropriateness, and audio quality . Excellent listening skills and the ability to identify subtle differences in pauses, rhythm, tone, emphasis, pronunciation, and conversational timing. Strong attention to detail and ability to apply detailed rating criteria consistently. Comfortable using or learning basic speech and linguistic concepts such as prosody, intonation, disfluency, backchanneling, and turn-taking . Strong written English skills and the ability to provide clear, concise reasoning for evaluation decisions. Ability to work independently in a remote freelance environment and meet applicable project deadlines and quality requirements. Location and Residency Requirement Applicants must: Currently reside in the United States , and Have continuously resided in the United States for the past five consecutive years.
