9670816-74647 Job Description Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide telehealth and onsite interpretation services within an educational setting. This full-time contract position requires 37.5 hours per week and offers an opportunity to support effective communication for students with hearing impairments.

Newkirk, OK Key Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate and clear sign language interpretation for students, educators, and families during telehealth sessions and in-person interactions. Facilitate communication in educational environments to ensure accessibility and inclusion. Collaborate with educational staff to support classroom activities and individualized student needs. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards. Stay current with interpreting methodologies and best practices to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification or demonstrated expertise in sign language interpreting. Experience interpreting in telehealth settings preferred. Previous work in educational environments is advantageous. Open to VOCO-certified candidates. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
