Skills & Experience Sought:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with certification or state credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a 1:1 interpreter for a kindergarten student throughout the school day in an elementary school. Accurately interpret spoken language to sign language and vice versa during classroom instruction, activities, and interactions. Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to support the student's individual needs and learning goals. Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture by bridging communication for the student in various settings. Assist with the development of classroom resources, if needed, to further support accessibility.
