e2111-29169 Job Description Step into a rewarding full-time, on-site assignment supporting students as a 1:1 Sign Language Interpreter in a vibrant educational setting near West Columbia, SC. This contract role is ideal for travel professionals passionate about providing direct access to instruction and communication for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Qualifications:

Extensive experience in educational or school-based sign language interpreting Achieved an ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher (required) Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with an ability to foster an inclusive learning environment Skilled in facilitating communication between students, educators, and peers Open to travel candidates ready for fresh opportunities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 interpreting services for students throughout the school day, ensuring full participation in classroom activities and school events Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to adapt instructional materials and clarify information in real time Advocate for and support the students unique communication needs, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality Assist with preparations for meetings, lessons, and school functions as needed, providing essential feedback to the educational team
