Qualifications:

Must possess an ASLPI score of 4.1 or above Current certification as a Sign Language Interpreter highly preferred Previous experience in a school setting or working 1:1 with students is advantageous Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliability, adaptability, and a strong commitment to student success

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver clear, accurate interpreting services for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support individualized learning plans Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Stay proactive in understanding course materials, classroom expectations, and student needs Engage in professional development as needed
