Good knowledge of the Bible is needed. Responsibilities Provide accurate interpretation between Spanish and English across church settings, including interpreting of the sermons on sundays. Utilize translation skills to convert written documents, ensuring clarity and precision. Conduct over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) services promptly to support urgent communication needs. Adhere strictly to professional ethics, confidentiality policies, and standards during all interpretation activities. Demonstrate cultural competency by applying cross-cultural communication techniques aligned with clinical cultural standards. Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus but not required; strong understanding of cross-cultural communication standards is essential. Ability to perform over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) efficiently under pressure.
