This itinerant role provides the unique opportunity to impact learners across four different school sites, delivering in-person support during regular school hours. Responsibilities for this position include:

Providing direct sign language interpretation services for students and staff in a K-12 setting Collaborating closely with educational teamsincluding SLPs, SLPAs, and Clinical Fellowsto promote effective communication and inclusion Traveling between four school sites in the area as part of an itinerant schedule Supporting students academic and social participation through tailored communication strategies Participating in IEP meetings and assisting with the development and implementation of educational plans Contributing to professional development initiatives and orientation/training in July 2025, prior to the August school start Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Relevant certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter or ASL Educator in educational settings Experience serving K-12 students in schools is highly valued Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility and adaptability for working across multiple sites each week This full-time, in-person position follows a school calendar, with consistent hours from approximately 7:30am to 3:00pm. Youll work alongside dedicated speech-language professionals, including SLPA and Clinical Fellows, in a supportive setting designed for meaningful professional growth.
