This part-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with one student, delivering essential services across 1-2 school locations within a short distance of each other. Youll be making a difference every day from now until June 15, 2027, with a schedule that allows for work-life balance and professional development.

Essential Qualifications:

Valid EIPA Score of at least 3.5 Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter or ASL Teacher in an educational or school setting Ability to travel between 1-2 school sites within approximately 20 minutes Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and fostering inclusivity

Key Responsibilities:

Provide sign language interpretation for one assigned high school student within classroom settings and school-related events Support the academic and social success of the student by facilitating clear communication with teachers, peers, and staff Collaborate with educational teams to help personalize learning experiences Adapt interpreting styles and methods based on students needs and feedback from educators Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to ethical standards of interpreting
