Key Qualifications:

Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) EIPA score of 3.5 or higher Proper credentials or certifications to interpret within educational settings Experience supporting children or adolescents in schools (preferred) Compassionate communication and adaptability Capacity to manage a diverse caseload

Core Responsibilities:

Provide interpreting services for students across K-12 grades in classroom, extracurricular, and school-related activities Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate communication Adapt interpreting approaches to meet individualized student needs and educational goals Foster an inclusive and positive atmosphere for all learners Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times This position offers steady, weekday hours37.5 hours per week, Monday through Fridayallowing for consistent routines and work-life balance.
