Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Assistant Principal of Arts and in collaboration with the Director of Production, the Technical Manager oversees the planning, engineering, and execution of all scenic and technical elements for school productions and events. Serving as the primary technical authority and master carpenter, this role ensures the safe, efficient realization of designs from concept through strike. The Technical Manager collaborates with directors, designers, faculty, and staff to translate artistic vision into practical solutions within budget and facility constraints. Success in this role requires strong organization, a solid work ethic, and effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders. The position also supports the educational mission of the Production & Design Conservatory through student mentorship, hands-on instruction, and the development of industry-aligned technical theatre skills.
