Job Description

Director of Photography Job PostingDirector of Photography (DP) — YouTube Comedy Skits We're looking for a Director of Photography (DP) to join our team and help bring our YouTube comedy skits to life. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of lighting, camera operation, and visual storytelling , and knows how to create different looks depending on the tone of a scene — whether that's bright and comedic, dark and dramatic, or anything in between.
The Role:
We primarily film inside a house, so part of the job will be finding creative ways to transform our existing spaces through lighting and camera work. We often need to replicate the look and feel of different locations while working within the limitations of our shooting environment.
For example:
A kitchen may need to feel like a professionally lit restaurant. A bedroom dressed as a high-end bank may need lighting that makes the space feel polished and luxurious. A simple room may need to feel dark, dramatic, cinematic, or intentionally comedic depending on the scene. You'll work closely with the director to understand the intended look and figure out how to achieve it with the equipment and space available. Responsibilities Since we're a small production team, the DP will have a hands-on role throughout the entire shoot.
Responsibilities will include:
Designing and setting up lighting for each scene Operating the camera during filming Managing and maintaining camera, lighting, and audio equipment Monitoring audio while shooting Helping maintain an efficient and organized production environment
Schedule:
This is a full-time position , Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM . We're looking for someone who can be on set most days throughout the week.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
Work Location:
In person
