Job Description

Outdoor Lighting Technician Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Outdoor Lighting Technician to join our team. This position involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting outdoor lighting systems, including landscape, commercial, and holiday lighting. Candidates should be detail-oriented, have a strong sense of pride in their work, and enjoy working outdoors in various conditions.

Required:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs, super speeder tickets, and less than three offences in the last three years). Pass a background check. Reliable personal transportation to and from our Kennesaw office.

Skills and Experience:

Low and High voltage electrical experience a huge plus! Hand and power tool experience. Physically capable of climbing, lifting, and moving a 32' extension ladder. Comfortable working at heights. Strong attention to detail and respect for customer property. Effective communication skills, both verbal and electronic. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Bilingual in English and Spanish a big plus!

Punctuality and strong work ethic. Problem-solving mindset with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Install outdoor lighting systems per design plans. Assemble fixtures, trench cables, and make wire connections. Core/drill into stone for fixture placement. String bistro lights and secure posts in concrete. Mount and wire transformers. Troubleshoot and maintain existing lighting systems. Handle outdoor landscaping, commercial, and holiday lighting projects. Ensure proper care and operation of company vehicles.

Note:

Work involves being outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the day. Candidates must pass a background check to be hired.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00
