Compensation:
$20•30 per hour depending on experience. The Light Park is one of the most dynamic, high-volume drive-thru holiday experiences in the country. This role is hands-on field execution in a condensed seasonal window, requiring dependable technical support, quick troubleshooting, and a strong focus on guest experience every show night. Position Overview:
The Light Park is seeking Seasonal Show Technicians to support setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our holiday light show event at the Gwinnett Stripers ballpark in Lawrenceville, GA. This role works closely with site leadership and technical teams to keep lighting, audio, show controllers, power, props, and field equipment running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Show Operations o Help set up, operate, and troubleshoot lighting, audio, show controllers, networking, power, props, and site equipment at the Gwinnett Stripers ballpark event site. o Assist with daily show startup, testing, shutdown, and basic maintenance. o Troubleshoot issues during live show hours and help keep the guest experience running smoothly. o Work with show computers, Raspberry Pis / FPP, low-voltage equipment, cabling, and field tech as needed. o Help keep the ballpark event site organized, safe, and ready for nightly operations. • Qualifications o Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-moving event environment. o Available evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season. o Able to lift, carry, pull cable, use basic tools, and work on your feet. o Reliable transportation to the Gwinnett Stripers ballpark / Lawrenceville site. o Technical or production experience is helpful, but we can train the right person. • Preferred Experience o Holiday light shows, live events, production, lighting, audio, DMX, networking, computers, show control, Raspberry Pi / FPP, low-voltage or basic electrical work, tools, ladders, lifts, or site setup.
