Part-Time Lighting Technicians Description:

The Center for Arts in Natick is seeking experienced concert technicians/designers. Focus of lighting instruments as required for performance Programming of digital lighting console as required for performance Executes real-time lighting adjustments to support moods as defined by artist and venue Ensure proper care and handling of all TCAN and rental lighting equipment Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show Oversee and operate systems pertaining to lighting throughout the entire venue Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in design and execution of lighting for live music performances Professional-level mastery of lighting design, digital lighting hardware and video/multimedia Excellent visual awareness (nuance, detail) and musical sensibility Strong problem-solving skills and ability Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills Ability to present a professional appearance Must work well under pressure and be even-tempered Availability to work evenings with maximum availability
