Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lighting Technician to join our team and bring illumination projects to life! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing lighting systems across various settings. Your expertise will ensure that all lighting installations meet safety standards, electrical codes, and client specifications. Responsibilities Install, wire, and commission lighting systems in accordance with electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools to identify faults in lighting circuits and control systems. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams related to lighting and control systems. Conduct electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, and construction site equipment efficiently while following electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial or commercial lighting technician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Knowledge of lighting systems, controls, photometrics, and electrical branch circuits. Ability to operate scissor lifts and boom lifts safely and efficiently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Experience driving a 3/4 ton pickup truck while towing work trailers.
