Job Description
Christmas Light Salesperson / Installer Reinforced Texas Landscaping Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Qualifications Lighting sales Deal closing Electrical work In-person customer service Ladder use Brand representation High-end sales Lighting fixture installation Closing sales leads Landscaping Communication skills Experience with customer site (as sales environment) Technical sales experience Entry level Under 1 year Closing sales Full Job Description About the Role Reinforced Texas Landscaping is preparing for our Christmas light season (Sept - Jan) and we're hiring a hands-on sales and install person to help run it. This is a dual role — half the job is selling, half is installing. You'll do on-site estimates, close deals in person, then go hang the lights with our team. The role starts seasonal, but there's a real path to year-round work. Permanent LED lighting is a high-ticket, year-round product ($2,500-$6,000 average job), and the right person can turn this into a full-time position selling and installing permanent lights in the off-season. Most of this season's Christmas light revenue happens in a tight window — mid Sept through mid-December — so the pace is fast and the hours are long during peak weeks. What You'll Do Show up to free on-site estimates, walk the property, measure the roofline, and quote the job on the spot Present every homeowner their full range of options — small, medium, and go-all-out — and let them choose Close the sale in person and collect payment on-site (card, cash, or check) Install roofline lighting, trees, and other lighting elements safely and correctly Quality check the team and make sure they're installing lights correctly Handle takedowns starting January 1 — a quick, friendly visit to rebook the customer for next year, ask for a Google review, and pitch permanent lighting Sell and install permanent LED lighting during the off-season as this becomes a bigger part of the business Represent the company in branded gear and be a professional at all times What We're Looking For Comfortable both selling face-to-face and doing physical install work — this is not a role where you only do one or the other Confident on a ladder and comfortable working at height Reliable vehicle Strong communicator who can read a homeowner and close without being pushy Detail-oriented — takes pride in the small details that matter Self-motivated and able to work independently once trained Prior sales, landscaping, electrical, or install experience is a plus but not required — we'll train you on the install process Schedule & Pay Structure Setup and training: September Peak install season: October - mid-December (expect long days, some weekends)
