Job Description
Overview We are urgently hiring a dynamic and detail-oriented Photo Stylist and Assistant to Join our dynamic creative team and play a vital role in bringing captivating visual stories to life! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with professional photographers, assist in various stages of photo production, and develop your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment as you prepare students to bring out their best personality and smiles for the photographer as we travel between the Montgomery and Auburn areas taking school pictures of smiling children. Duties Assist in preparing and styling, models, and scenes for photoshoots to achieve desired looks and shot composition. Interact with the children to make them comfortable, happy, and cheerful and prepared to deliver a great smile and personality. Manage and organize photography gear, lighting equipment, props, and wardrobe to ensure seamless shoot setups. Support photographers during shoots by setting up lighting, backgrounds, and camera equipment. Contribute to post-production processes including color management, image processing, photo manipulation, and video editing with Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. Requirements LOVES to work with children, especially preschool age. Can make children comfortable and put them at ease to be photographed. Is outgoing and has a cheerful personality. Ability to manage, direct, and control a room of people during a photo session. Reliable and punctual. Ability to bend, squat, and stand working for about 5 hours. Experience or ability to assemble and organize photography equipment. Strong organizational skills for managing props, wardrobe items, equipment setup/teardown procedures. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a creative team environment. A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask efficiently under tight deadlines.
