Job Description
Please include a link to your portfolio with your resume. Unfortunately, we can't consider applicants without one. We're a small team specializing in lifestyle portrait sessions for couples, families, and friend groups. Our sessions typically take place throughout the Jeffco foothills and Boulder areas, so applicants must be willing to work in both locations. We photograph year-round, with most sessions taking place in the evening around sunset. Summer is our busiest season, and during peak times we may have multiple sessions at the same location in a single day. We also occasionally receive last-minute bookings, so flexibility is important. We typically need support 1 to 3 days per week, with the potential for a more consistent schedule as we continue to grow. Photographers with greater availability generally receive more bookings. You might be a great fit if you: Have an established portrait photography portfolio (please include a link when applying). Use a full-frame camera body with dual card slots (required) . Have a flexible schedule and are open to short-notice bookings. Are personable, professional, and confident working with clients. Can confidently direct and pose people while creating natural, candid-feeling images. Are LGBTQ+ friendly and enjoy working with a diverse range of clients. Compensation & Details No editing required!! $100 flat rate for a standard 60-minute session, including culling to 100-150 images. Longer sessions and surprise proposals are paid at a higher rate. Paid training and shadowing at $25/hour. $25-$50 bonuses on qualifying photo orders. About 40% of sessions currently qualify for the $25 bonus. Occasional paid opportunities to capture behind-the-scenes content on your cell phone. Clients occasionally leave tips, especially during our tourist-based sessions. Paid travel for sessions farther into the mountains. We handle nearly all client communication, though you may occasionally help clients with directions to the meeting location. This is a contracted 1099 position. A shared calendar will be provided so you can update your availability.
