Job Description
AM Photography is Southwest Colorado's official partnered sports photographer, serving schools, recreation programs, and youth organizations throughout the region. We create a fun, organized, and memorable photo day experience while delivering high-quality portraits that families treasure. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and wants to grow in photography. Whether you have experience behind the camera or are eager to learn, we'll teach the technical skills. What matters most is reliability, professionalism, and a great attitude. What You'll Do Every photo day is different, but responsibilities may include: Setting up and packing photography equipment, lighting, and backdrops Organizing athletes, coaches, and teams to keep photo days running smoothly Assisting photographers during school and sports photo days Helping athletes look their best before photos Learning camera operation, lighting, and posing techniques Greeting families, coaches, and school staff with friendly, professional customer service Assisting with special events and photo booths throughout the year What We're Looking For Friendly and outgoing personality Dependable and punctual Comfortable working with children, teens, coaches, and large groups Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn photography and lighting techniques Reliable transportation Able to lift and carry photography equipment (up to 40 pounds) Weekend availability during the fall sports season Photography experience is a plus but is not required.
