THE GIG We send you a list of blocks in one DC neighborhood, with a walking route for each block. You walk both sides of each block and take one clear photo of every pole with a street parking sign: No Parking, No Standing, 2 Hour Parking, Zone Permit, Pay to Park, Street Sweeping, loading zones. Not stop signs, street-name signs, or store signs. Get close enough that every word on the sign is readable. i

Android:

use the free "GPS Map Camera" app, which stamps the location on the photo. Upload as you go to a link we send you. No account needed. PAY $1 for every usable photo (text readable, location attached, on your assigned blocks). A first assignment is 40-80 photos. Proven surveyors get longer lists of 150-200 photos and upload as they go. Paid by Zelle or Venmo the day your batch comes in.

YOU NEED

An iPhone or Android with location services on. To be 18 or older and comfortable walking 1-2 miles in daylight. To follow the block list and instructions exactly. Only the listed blocks are paid. This is detail work.

HOW IT STARTS

After you apply, we message you a link and ask for one test photo of a street parking sign with location on. Pass the test and you get your blocks the same day. Independent one-time gig, not employment. Photos are used only to verify parking-sign data and are not published.
