Overview Talis Park Golf Club is an private 18 hole facility owned by Kitson & Partners. The golf course was designed by Greg Norman and Pete Dye and features platium paspalum turf. This is a part time position. 3 - 4 days a week. Experience Required Past experience a plus. Essential Responsibilities Greet each guest cheerfully, enthusiastically and with a smile and warm eye contact. Help in any way to ensure that each Member / Guest enjoys their day at the course. You are required to wear a uniform provided by the golf course. Nametags will be provided and worn at all times. Pick up clipboard, scorecards, pencils, tee sheets, radio. Make sure cart is clean. Assist our Guests with any course direction, searching for balls, raking bunkers, any questions regarding yardage, hole locations and any other questions regarding the course.

BE A GOODWILL AMBASSADOR ON BEHALF OF THE COURSE.

Assist players with any cart breakdowns and arrange with cart staff the towing of any needed carts. Check all water coolers for water and cups. Monitor the pace of play (at least 1 in every 4 groups) to ensure our pace of play maximums are met. Document any pace of play problems on the copy of the tee sheet you are given. As time permits fill divots with sand and repair ball marks. Pick up any litter on the golf course. Straighten all hazards and out of bound stakes ensuring that they are all at right angles to the ground. It is essential that the opening player assistant monitor the early groups to ensure that they are meeting our pace of play maximums. Always marshal the course against the flow of traffic. Keep in constant communication with the starters and other player assistants. Provide Starter with needed assistance, with starting of players, anytime Starter sees fit. Report to the golf shop any irrigation breaks, accidents or unusual circumstances. Make yourself very visible ensuring that each four ball that you pass sees you.
