About the Position This position will work in tandem with our creative media team to create photo, video and social media projects for internal and client use. The Coordinator will act as photographer and videographer: planning for, shooting and editing footages, accomplishing the technical tasks related to production and post-production. He or she will be responsible for transporting, setting up, operating and breaking down equipment, including but not limited to set lighting, video equipment, photo-op and dressing as necessary. They will also be responsible for executing the social media marketing campaigns and strategies required for promotion. The coordinator will work closely with the creative manager to execute concepts through to completion. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to- Transporting, setting up and operating various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, photo booths, etc.
- Assist in all things related to videography and photography including shooting content and editing
- Must have strong knowledge of operation and maintaining proper function of department equipment, including Canon and Sony products.
- Work with creative team to develop story boards and content calendars for social media content and client work
- Works with creative team and supports individual departments with content needs to ensure streamlined and consistent distribution of brand assets
- Attend events on nights/weekends to curate content including live social posting
- Ability to shoot in a variety of situations including nights, indoor/outdoor, with or without flash, etc.
- Create graphics, select music and spearhead additional production assets to projects
- Strong editing skills across video and photography platforms
- Stays on top of industry trends and skills
- Must present a professional, positive image, and have proven customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills Requirements
- Presentation of portfolio required
- Bachelor's degree in visual arts, communications, marketing or equivalent work experience in the industry
- Excellent eye for capturing both photo and video formats
- Strong knowledge of creative use of social platforms
- Skilled in visual storytelling
- Creative thinker with proactive problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
- Proficient in Adobe Creative software
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
- Works well in a collaborative environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be able to work full-time, frequent nights and weekends as required for projects and schedules assigned
