In this on-site role, you'll photograph live performances, award ceremonies, and behind-the-scenes moments, working closely with video and streaming teams to ensure full event coverage. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining gear, shooting high-speed action in challenging lighting, editing and retouching images for rapid delivery, and managing large photo libraries. Ideal candidates bring a strong sports or performance photography portfolio, comfort with extensive travel, and a passion for the performing arts and live events. Responsibilities Travel to dance competitions and events across North America to capture high-quality still images of live performances and candid moments. Set up and manage on-site photography gear, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and backup equipment. Collaborate with video, streaming, and production teams to coordinate shot lists and coverage. Edit, retouch, and prepare images for quick turnaround, online galleries, and media delivery. Maintain organized file management and backup processes for large volumes of event images. Interact professionally with event organizers, studios, dancers, and families to ensure a positive client experience. Adapt shooting style to varying lighting conditions, stage layouts, and fast-paced schedules. Follow brand guidelines and technical standards to ensure consistent image quality across events. Contribute to continuous improvement of photography workflows, tools, and best practices. Uphold safety, reliability, and professionalism while traveling and working long, active event days.
