Apex Imaging Media is growing, and we are looking for a talented photographer who is ready to make an impact. We are a well established real estate media company with a steady stream of work across the Tampa Bay area. This is a 1099 contractor role with flexible scheduling and consistent projects coming in throughout the year, not a one and done gig. A large portion of our business runs through Hernando County, so if you are not already local, you should be comfortable traveling to Hernando, Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties for shoots. What you will be doing You will be behind the camera capturing high quality photo content for real estate and commercial properties, delivering polished, ready to go work on time, and collaborating with our team to keep every shoot consistent with our brand standards. What we are looking for Professional experience in real estate photography, a sharp eye for lighting, framing, and composition, and reliable transportation. A current FAA Part 107 Drone Certification is required, applicants without one will not be considered. You must have your own professional grade equipment, Sony is preferred but not required. Reliable internet is also needed for same day uploads. We are looking for an independent photographer, not someone who runs their own photography business. You should be ready and able to service all of Tampa Bay including Hernando, Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties. Pay and structure This role pays 30 percent of each project's invoice minus direct costs, with room for an increase after 90 days based on consistency and performance. We have a dedicated Operations Manager who handles scheduling, customer questions, and coordination, so you can focus purely on the shoot itself. No client management, no billing headaches, just show up, shoot, and deliver great work. Schedule runs Monday through Friday, with a rare Saturday, and all work is performed in person on location.
