ARtscapes is looking for an energetic, outgoing, sales-oriented person to help operate our booth at the historic French Market in New Orleans. This is not a sit-behind-the-counter retail job . Our booth is located in a busy, seven-day-a-week art, souvenir and flea market environment filled with tourists and locals. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people, starting conversations, demonstrating a unique product, and turning that excitement into sales. ARtscapes combines art and augmented reality, creating artwork that actually comes to life when viewed through our app. It's a fun product to demonstrate, and we're looking for someone who can bring that same sense of fun and enthusiasm to customers. Who We're Looking For The right person will be: Highly energetic, upbeat and enthusiastic Naturally comfortable approaching and talking with customers Sales-oriented and motivated by earning more when they sell more Friendly, personable and customer-service focused Dependable and able to work independently Comfortable learning and demonstrating our AR technology Able to keep the booth attractive, organized and ready for customers Comfortable working in an outdoor covered market environment and dealing with New Orleans weather Available for flexible shifts, including some weekends and busy tourism periods Retail, hospitality, tourism, art-market or sales experience is helpful, but personality, energy and reliability matter even more. What You'll Do You'll help operate the ARtscapes French Market location, including greeting and engaging visitors, demonstrating how our artwork comes to life, explaining the different pieces, helping customers select artwork, completing sales, maintaining displays and creating a fun, memorable experience for visitors. We don't want customers to feel pressured. We want them to feel excited. The best person for this role knows how to engage people naturally, tell a story and close a sale while providing excellent customer service. Compensation This position includes guaranteed base pay plus a substantial performance/profit-sharing opportunit y. Strong performers can earn up to 50% of the profits they help generate. That means you're guaranteed compensation for your time, but you're also rewarded directly for helping make the booth successful. For the right salesperson, the earning potential can be significantly better than a traditional hourly retail position. Schedule The French Market operates seven days a week, so we're interested in both regular and flexible availability. Weekend availability is especially valuable.
