Job Description

Greetings:
Do you want to make a difference in Baltimore through videography? CheerUP Cheer Company is a competitive cheer organization on the rise. Our mission is to uplift and educate youth through cheer by utilizing teamwork, physical and mental health best practices to empower the next generation of leaders. We have a growing team of youth ages 7-14. In efforts to support the youth eager to cheer, we will be providing training in the areas of leadership skills, teamwork, communication and health & wellness. Practice will be facilitated by Coach Jam on Monday's and Wednesday's from 6-7pm.
Our Goals:
Utilizing cheer to improve emotional well-being. Practice weekly to perfect our craft. Use skills acquired to compete and perform. Learning exceptional leadership and teamwork skills. The duration of this position is specifically for the Fall/Winter season and is temporary to permanent upon observation. ```Duties``` Attending at least one practice per week to obtain videos AND photos of the team. Organizing content into a CheerUP online folder. Produce photos and videos in a timely manner WEEKLY for the editor to take the content to the next phase. Attending CheerUP events that have a need for videography/photography. (typically 2-3 per season). Accessible by text daily Create your own works hours

  • Must be able to work an Iphone camera
  • Entry level experience recording videos
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with kids
Compensation & Perks:
Internship; However, it offers valuable opportunities for portfolio building and personal brand exposure. Interns are welcome and encouraged to add watermarks to all media they create and will receive promotional credit across ALL CheerUP social media platforms.
