Are you looking for an amazing winter job in Whitefish? Spend the ski season on the mountain photographing families, couples, and friends at Whitefish Mountain Resort! Mountain Life Photography is looking for outgoing, energetic photographers to join our team for the upcoming ski season. This is a fun, fast-paced job for someone who loves being outside, enjoys talking with people, and is comfortable working independently. Photographers are stationed near the top of the chairlifts throughout the day, photographing skiers and snowboarders and inviting guests to stop for a quick portrait with the mountain views. You'll also help guests view and purchase their photos at the end of the day. This is an outdoor job, and we work in all kinds of winter weather — cold temperatures, snow, wind, and the occasional beautiful bluebird powder day! What we're looking for: Photography/camera experience Great customer service and communication skills Friendly, outgoing personality Dependable and comfortable working independently Able to work outdoors in winter conditions Available throughout the ski season Must be able to comfortably ski/snowboard a blue run Pay is hourly plus commission on photo sales. Most photographers average approximately $18-$25 per hour with commission. Full-time photographers who complete the ski season receive a complimentary Whitefish Mountain Resort season pass. Employees purchase the pass at the discounted employee rate at the beginning of the season, and Mountain Life Photography reimburses the cost at the end of the season.

Schedule:

Full-time available. We operate seven days a week throughout the ski season, so schedules can vary. If you're outgoing, love photography, and think spending your winter working on the mountain sounds like a blast, we'd love to hear from you.
