We are dedicated to creating joyful, memorable experiences for visitors of all ages through interactive animal interactions, seasonal events, and fun farm activities. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly, welcoming, and safe environment for both our guests and our animals. Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, artistic and versatile Farm Guest Experience Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be on the front lines of customer service, ensuring every visitor has a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable visit. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well in a team setting, and has a strong background in customer service. Additionally, basic experience with social media creation is a major plus, as you'll help capture and share the magic of the farm with our online community. This is a dynamic role where you will be cross-trained across multiple guest service positions , allowing you to step into different operational roles depending on farm needs and event schedules. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services & Operations Warmly greet guests, assist with ticket scanning, point-of-sale (POS) check-ins, and answer inquiries about farm activities, safety rules, and schedules. Cross-train and rotate through various front-facing duties, including:
Craft Barn:
Helping guests with basic crafts and the Gem Mining and mini golf experiences.
Ticketing & Entry Desk:
Managing visitor check-ins and walk-up transactions.
Gift Shop & Retail:
Restocking inventory, assisting customers, and ringing up sales.
Activity Stations & Animal Interactions:
Monitoring guest interactions with animals to ensure safety and fun for both visitors and livestock.
Event Setup & Support:
Assisting with setup, staging, and breakdown for seasonal events, workshops, and private parties. Provide exceptional customer service by resolving guest concerns with a positive, helpful attitude. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout customer-facing areas of the farm. Social Media & Content Creation Assist with capturing photos, short-form video clips (Reels/TikToks), and behind-the-scenes content of daily farm activities, animals, and events. Support the management or scheduling of social media posts, stories, and guest interactions across primary platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Help engage with online visitors and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members. Teamwork & Collaboration Work collaboratively with farm hands, event staff, and management to maintain seamless daily operations. Communicate effectively via walkie-talkies or team apps during peak event hours. Jump in to support team members across different stations during high-volume periods.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1+ years of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or tourism.
Social Media Skills:
Basic experience creating content (photo/video editing, trend awareness) or managing business social media handles.
Team Player:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
Flexibility:
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and switching roles/tasks based on daily farm needs.
Work Environment:
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around farm animals (goats, sheep, poultry, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk across uneven terrain, and lift/carry up to 30 lbs as needed.
Availability:
Weekend and holiday availability is required, as these are peak guest hours. Must like hugging baby goats! Why Join Us?
