Rate Range:
$250-$350 Below you can find list of responsibilities for this role on the shoot. AC/MM
  • Assist and manage in setting up and configuring cameras, lenses, and other related equipment before filming. Ensure that all camera equipment is in good working condition and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Support the camera operator by handling equipment, adjusting settings, and swapping lenses as needed.
  • Monitor battery levels and ensure a sufficient power supply for cameras and related equipment. Swap out batteries as necessary and recharge depleted ones.
  • Keep track of all camera equipment, accessories, and peripherals.
  • Maintain clear communication with the camera team, director, and other crew members. Relay information regarding camera settings, shot requirements, and any technical issues.
  • Assist in the transportation of camera equipment to and from shooting locations.
  • Manage and organize digital media storage, including memory cards, hard drives, and other recording media. Download, label, and back up footage regularly to prevent data loss and follow the media management instructions provided to you from production.
  • Keep production updated on card inventory, card space, and drive space.
