Job Description
Established school photography company serving Long Island and NYC is seeking an experienced School Photographer for student portrait and picture day assignments. This role is best suited for photographers with prior high-volume school photography experience, including candidates who have worked for Lifetouch or similar school photography companies. We are currently prioritizing professionals who can step into school-day workflows with minimal training and perform confidently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include photographing individual student portraits and class pictures, setting up and breaking down equipment, maintaining image quality and consistency, keeping photo lines moving efficiently, and representing the company professionally on-site. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid NYS driver's license, and the ability to travel to different school locations. Equipment is provided. Higher consideration will be given to applicants with direct school photography or volume portrait experience.
