JOB SUMMARY
Bring movement, product, and storytelling to life as a Photographer/Videographer at Weissman. In this role, you'll create compelling photography and video that showcases our performance apparel across eCommerce, catalogs, advertising, and brand campaigns. Combining strong technical expertise with a creative eye, you'll capture everything from detailed product imagery to dancers in motion while translating creative concepts into polished visual content. You'll collaborate with Art Directors, Stylists, Choreographers, DigiTechs, and Production teams in a highly creative studio environment where every shoot is a team effort. From lighting and composition to directing movement, preparing productions, and supporting post-production, you'll help shape how customers experience the Weissman brand through visual storytelling.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Capture high-quality photography and video of apparel on models and still life for eCommerce, catalogs, advertising, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling. Translate creative concepts and Art Director direction into compelling visual content through lighting, composition, set building, camera operation, and movement direction. Execute both product-focused and brand-driven content while maintaining the distinct visual and technical requirements of each. Direct models and subjects on set, adjusting composition, lighting, camera settings, and movement in real time to achieve the desired result. Partner with Stylists and Choreographers to accurately capture garment presentation, fit, movement, styling intent, and performance timing. Lead photo and video execution on set, maintaining an efficient shot progression while adapting to changing creative and production needs. Plan and prepare for studio and location shoots by reviewing creative direction, shot lists, equipment needs, lighting setups, and technical requirements. Manage photo and video assets throughout the production lifecycle, including file organization, naming, cataloging, archiving, and preparation for downstream use. Support editing, retouching, color correction, and video post-production workflows while maintaining visual consistency and quality. Maintain photography and videography equipment, capture technology, and studio environments to ensure equipment and spaces remain organized and production-ready.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Bachelor's degree in Photography, Film, Media Production, or a related field preferred. Experience 10+ years of professional photography and/or videography experience in product, fashion, eCommerce, or a related environment preferred. 4 to 6 years of experience capturing people in motion, ideally within dance, performance, athletic, or similarly movement-focused environments preferred. 4 to 6 years of experience working in high-volume creative or production environments preferred. Demonstrated experience producing both product-focused and brand-driven photography and video content. Knowledge, Skills, + Abilities Strong expertise in studio lighting, composition, and professional camera operation for both photography and video. Advanced understanding of the creative and technical differences between product-focused and branded visual content. Proficiency in RAW image capture, video capture, editing, and color workflows. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and related creative tools. Strong ability to capture people in motion while maintaining accuracy in product detail, garment fit, styling, and performance timing. Strong creative judgment with exceptional attention to detail in both creative and technical execution. Ability to direct subjects and make real-time adjustments to lighting, composition, camera settings, and movement on set. Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary creative and production teams. Ability to manage multiple shoots, competing priorities, assets, and deadlines within a fast-paced production environment. Strong creative problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs while maintaining quality and visual consistency.
