Join Our Picture Day Team! M Print Photography is currently hiring School Photography Team Assistants to help create an amazing picture day experience for local preschools and private schools. This is an assistant position—not a photographer position. While photography experience is welcome, we are not currently hiring photographers. If your primary goal is to photograph sessions, build a photography portfolio, or be behind the camera, this position will not be the right fit. We're looking for dependable team members who enjoy working with children, have a positive attitude, and are excited to support our photographers behind the scenes. As our company continues to grow, there may be opportunities to advance into other roles in the future. This Position Is Perfect For Stay-at-home moms Retirees Substitute teachers Former teachers or teacher aides Preschool and daycare teachers Childcare professionals Nannies Individuals looking for flexible, seasonal weekday work About the Role M Print Photography provides preschool and school photography throughout Katy, Cypress, Richmond, and Rosenberg. Our Photography Team Assistants help make picture day fun, organized, and stress-free for children, teachers, parents, and photographers. You'll play an important role in keeping picture day running smoothly while helping children look and feel their best. This is a seasonal Independent Contractor (1099) position, with regular work available during our busy seasons and lighter schedules during the off-season. Work Schedule Busy Seasons Spring (March-May) Fall (September-November) Off Season Most of December January Part of February Summer months Typical Work Hours Weekday mornings Early start times Hours vary depending on each school's schedule Please note: This is not a year-round, full-time position. Travel Requirements Because we photograph at multiple schools throughout the area, reliable transportation is required.

This position is not a good fit if you: Depend on Uber, Lyft, or ride-share services for transportation. Do not have dependable transportation. Are uncomfortable driving between school locations. Job Responsibilities As a Photography Team Assistant, you will: Welcome and organize children for picture day. Help children look their best by fixing hair, straightening clothing, and cleaning faces when needed. Guide children into simple poses. Keep picture day organized and moving efficiently. Assist photographers with equipment and workflow. Encourage smiles and help children feel comfortable in front of the camera. Create a fun, patient, positive experience for every child. Communicate professionally with teachers and school staff. Physical Requirements This is an active position.
Applicants must be able to:
Lift at least 30 pounds (equipment, props, etc.). Bend, squat, kneel, and sit on the floor. Stand and walk for several hours during picture day. Work in a fast-paced school environment. What We're Looking For Our ideal team member is someone who : Loves working with young children. Has a friendly, patient, and positive personality. Is dependable and punctual. Enjoys working as part of a team. Is organized and able to follow directions. Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Is comfortable supporting the photographer rather than being behind the camera. Has a reliable personal vehicle and is comfortable traveling to multiple school locations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus! This Position Is NOT For This position may not be the right fit if you: Are looking for a photographer position. Want to build a photography portfolio or photograph client sessions. Need guaranteed full-time, year-round employment. Do not have reliable transportation. Plan to rely on Uber, Lyft, or rides from others to get to work. Prefer working independently instead of as part of a team.
Compensation Training Pay:
$15.00 per hour
After Training:
