Internship Summary:

The Danville Baseball Club is home to one of Virginia's most exciting summer baseball brands: the Danville Otterbots (proud members of the Appalachian League powered by Major League Baseball and USA Baseball). Located in Danville, Virginia, the organization's mission is to provide unforgettable, community-driven entertainment while delivering the highest standard of fan experience. The Photographer Intern will capture the energy of game days and stadium events, producing images that fuel social media, marketing materials, and sponsor deliverables.

Internship Goals:

Learn how visual storytelling supports a small-market sports organization's brand and revenue goals. Gain hands-on experience shooting live sports action, stadium entertainment, and fan and hospitality moments. Develop a working relationship with the social media and graphic design teams to deliver on the marketing calendar.

Full-time summer internship from Mid-May to the beginning of August. Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree in photography, communications, sports management, or a related field. Must be able to work all events and game days. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Own camera equipment required.
