ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

— FIELD

Home Renovation Series | Greater Los Angeles Seeking an organized, resourceful Associate Producer to support the producing team on a home renovation series. This role combines story support, logistical producing, and coordination with homeowners, contractors, designers, and producers throughout prep and filming. The ideal candidate can manage multiple moving parts, build strong contributor relationships, and keep story and production moving forward.

Responsibilities include:

Support field producers with episode prep, story tracking, and daily producing needs across multiple households.

Coordinate with homeowners on availability and next steps; keep producers informed of developments and concerns.

Track homeowners' personal stories, collections, renovation goals, and stakes; identify potential scenes and follow-up questions.

Prepare and update homeowner briefs, interview questions, beat sheets, and shoot checklists.

Help coordinate scouts, shoots, collection evaluations, sales, renovation updates, and reveals.

Confirm logistics with contractors, designers, experts, buyers, and production; track outstanding needs.

Organize collection details, sales information, photographs, and story notes for accuracy and continuity.

Track deadlines, approvals, and materials; flag schedule changes and potential problems early.

Help gather and organize releases, location information, and production paperwork.

Communicate field notes, story developments, pickups, and follow-up needs to producers and post.

Ideal qualifications:

AP or comparable producing experience in unscripted television; renovation, design, or character-driven documentary experience a plus.

Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Strong story instincts and an eye for the personal stakes behind a renovation or sale.

Clear, professional communication with homeowners, talent, and vendors.

Ability to juggle episodes, adapt to changing schedules, and solve problems calmly.

Proactive and collaborative, with sound judgment about taking initiative and escalating issues.

Comfortable with shared calendars, spreadsheets, production documents, and digital assets.

Available for fieldwork throughout Greater Los Angeles.
